Outer doors, windows and shutters are dark green Aluminium and the house is painted, tiled and decorated throughout.

Drapanos is a peaceful village with 3 tavernas and a mini-market of its own.  It is a very short drive to the lovely beaches at Almyrida and Kalyves, both with cafes, tavernas, shops and many facilities.  The picturesque inland villages of Kefalas, Paliloni and Xirosterni are nearby too and the municipal centre of Vamos, with bank, post office, town hall and a selection of cafes, tavernas and shops is only a short drive away.
