Building a house entails many necessary steps such as appointing an architect and civil engineer so as to conform with strict building standards, applying for and paying for a building licence, paying taxes, IKA insurance for the workforce employed, proper certification from Greek registered tradesmen for electricity and water connection, plus getting official tax invoices for all supplies and labour.
